The quickest way to find out whether kayak fishing is for you. We stay close, work one or two productive spots, and spend the time on fundamentals — paddling with a rod in the boat, positioning yourself on a flat, and reading where fish sit on the tide.
Best for: First-timers, tight schedules, and anyone testing the water before booking longer.
4 hours

4-hour trip
Four hours lets us fish an actual tide swing instead of a snapshot of one. We can move if a spot is not producing, try two or three different types of structure, and change tactics as the water does. This is the trip I recommend if you only book one.
Best for: Most anglers, most days. The best balance of time, cost, and fish.

6-hour trip
Six hours opens up water we simply cannot reach on a shorter trip. We can commit to a species and stay with it, or work through several as conditions shift. There is time to fail at something, adjust, and get it right — which is usually when the learning sticks.
Best for: Anglers with some experience, or beginners who want to go all-in on day one.

8-hour full day
A full day on the water. We start before light if the tide asks for it, fish through the day's best windows, and I hold nothing back — spots, rigs, reads, the reasoning behind every decision. People finish this trip able to go do it themselves, which is the entire point.
Best for: Anglers who want to walk away genuinely able to fish this water alone.
Prices are per person, so a 4-hour trip for two anglers is $200 each — $400 total. There is no group discount, because a second angler is genuinely more work, not less.
How a trip runs
What actually happens, start to finish

Before you drive out
I watch the forecast and the tide for your date and message you the night before with a launch time and a meeting spot. If the water is not going to be safe or fishable, you hear it then — not in the car park.

At the launch
Gear check, life jacket fitted properly, and a straight talk through how the kayak behaves, how to get in and out of it, and what to do if you go over. Ten minutes, and it makes the whole day easier.

On the water
We fish. I stay close enough to correct a cast and far enough not to crowd your water. You will hear why we are on this spot, why now, and what the tide is about to do to it.

When it is not working
We move, or we change tactics, and I tell you which and why. Watching someone reason through a bad hour is worth more than a lucky first cast.

At the end
Photos of anything worth photographing, gear loaded, and payment. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App — whichever is easiest.
Species
What is realistic depends on the week, not the brochure
Inshore here holds redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and black drum. Which of them is worth targeting on your date comes down to season, water temperature, wind, and what the tide is doing — and it changes.
Ask me when you request a date and I will tell you honestly what is feeding and what is a long shot. I would rather set a realistic expectation than sell you a species and spend four hours failing to find it.
Everything is catch-and-release unless you have the licence and the appetite to keep a legal fish, in which case that is your call and your paperwork.

Because nothing is collected in advance, cancelling costs you nothing but the date — though the notice I ask for still matters, since that date was held for you and turned down for someone else.
